Pus in the gum above gum
I have a small pus accumulation in the jaw bone above the gum. There is no evident infection or pain. Is it because of tooth decay? What should I do to treat it?

A picture is very helpful in these situations for diagnosis of the problem. However pus accumulation is not a good sign. It indicates an infection. It could be due to tooth decay or food accumulation.

Pus may not be because of decay only. Start with your antibiotic pophylaxis and come back after 3 days for review . Pus is because of infection at the root .
