Protein supplement good in uric acid?
My Brother is diagnosed with level 8 uric acid. He has started working out, can he take protein supplement like Whey Protein? If he can, is there any other food necessary to balance the protein intake?

Hello. Milk based proteins are safe for him. But he needs to be very careful while selecting other dietary sources. Ask him to consult dietitian with with blood reports. He/ She will make a plan as per his eating habits. Hydration is very much important. Ask him to have more than 3 litres of water everyday. Regards

Yes your brother can take protein supplements too which is easily digestable. Will prescribe after taking brief history of the patient. Will do diet consultation and will prepare customized uric acid diet chart according to BMI consists of fats proteins carbs in proportionate form to achieve goal in healthy manner and maintained metabolism
