Hello dr
I have irregular periods ,my first day of last menstrual period was on 16th August and lasted till 20th.On 20th I had protected sex ,but to be on the safe side I had a pill on 21 st morning. Then I had some bleeding that day . I'm not so sure if that was withdrawal bleeding or just my period .I had protected sex after that for 3 days .This month on September it's already 28th September and I haven't received my periods .Upt is negative .is there a risk ?

From the date of your last period and the dates of sexual intercourse the chances of pregnancy are very low.
You have taken i pill on 21 August.
So whatever way we calculate, you should have had your periods by now.
Please get your urine pregnancy or beta HCG level tested and consult a Gynaecologist with the report.
Hi good morning
Thnxs for your question
Ipills contains hormones that makes ur period irregular for 1 month.
If you missed ur regular period and pregnancy test negative than no worries abt pregnancy.
U should take medicine for withdrawal bleeding.

Bleeding post the consumption of an emergency pill is not your periods but a side effect called withdrawl bleeding
Since the pregnancy test is negative you are not pregnant
You need to be educated about the fact that emergency pills are known to cause delayed periods
If you have protected intercourse chances of pregnancy are although less.. and as you are saying your periods are irregular you can wait for 1 week and get a repeat pregnancy tests one after that. If that is also negative you can take medicine to have your periods
