Hello sir I can imagine it must be tough for you. Repetitive thoughts can be a sign of mental health disorder like obsessive compulsive disorder or OCD. Please see a psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation and further management. Treatment of OCD consists of a combination of medication and psychological therapy.many people with similar problems are able to come out of it with proper treatment and support. Please see a psychiatrist. Thanks Regards Dr Ankita Mishra

Repetitive tasks, intrusive and repetitive thoughts, checking, counting, disproportionate excess need for order and cleanliness, as well as anxiety when not able to do the same are signs of obsessive compulsive disorder. Patients with OCD suffer from significant distress, anxiety and depression due to the same which impairs their quality of life. Please consult a Psychiatrist at the earliest. With a combination of medication and behavioral therapy it is likely that the symptoms will improve.

Hello, It seems you are having repetitive thoughts and ideas that are intrusive and you feel little or no control over them. Such thoughts, often characteristic of Obsessive compulsive disorder, are also called obsessions. For now its important that you understand that such thoughts are often our own associations and have little to no basis in reality. The anxiety that they cause is often rooted in their irrational magnification in our mind. However it is treatable and manageable with the right treatment. There are a number of causes for Ocd, and with complete information about you, we can help you better.
Next Steps
Consult mental health professionals- clinical psychologist and psychiatrist. An on site consultation will be better for you. However you can consult on practo as well.
Health Tips
Practice slow deep breathing on counts to lower anxiety. Try talking to loved ones you trust so that they can help you in dealing with this problem.
