Problem with breastfeeding
It's been 20 days I delivered a baby boy. But still breast milk supply is low and during breastfeeding i feel pain. Between nipple and areola, small ring has formed where baby latches and it hurts. Sometimes I feel breasts are full but flow is very low and hence baby is not satisfied. How to improve the milk flow and supply?

If breasts are full then u don't require medication to improve milk production. Baby is not getting lactched to your breasts properly

You need a physical examination to rule out inverted or retracted nipples and further management.

Baby latch is wrong. You need to ensure that the entire areola or atleast major part of it is inside the baby's mouth. Looks like you are offering only the nipple. Watch some YouTube videos to learn how to latch the baby properly. If you are still doubtful ,consult in person with a lactation consultant or if you go to the hospital you delivered the nurse there will be able to help you learn correct latching method.
