Problem in the upper left gum
Upper wisdom tooth was extracted about 10 years before. There has been a light foul smell for the 6 months. My dentist administered a course of few tablets for a week. However, it gave only temporary relief and the problem has once again surfaced.

Hello, you can do warm salt water rinses and for proper diagnosis consult to an Oral surgeon.

Hello, it might be due to decay/cavity, bone loss surrounding teeth or Tarter deposit In that regio. 10 year old extraction area won't create any such problems. Better to get an x-ray do e followed  by the treatment of the cause.

Consult your Dentist again and do warm salie rinse 3 times a day for a week.
