Hi Mam,
I am 5 months pregnant...My doctor suggested me to take target scan and fetal echo scan on June 20, 2020... Usually, they take anamoly scan only by 5 months but my doctor telling to take target scan.. I'm really confused mam whether target scan and anamoly scan same or different.. I'm really worried please explain which is highly accurate..
One more issue also.. doctor suggested me to take target scan and fetal echo scan in one center..due to transport issues I'm unable to go there..I told her I'm unable to go there so shall I go to nearby center..they are saying in that center only it will be high quality..can anyone please let me know before going to the scan center what are all the things we should ask them to understand whether they have high quality scan or not... I'm really confused I don't know what to do with this situation..

You don’t have to think this much about what is called and what not.target scan and anomaly scan are the same.
Second thing is fetal echo and anomaly scan both need expertise in obstetric radiology.so please discuss with your gynaecologist about the centre where to go and who can do it.she should know better .
Hi there,
Target scan and anomaly scan both are same.
It will be better to do the ultrasound from the centre your doctor told.
Fetal echo scan is specific scan for baby's heart.
