Posttheraputic neuralgia after shingles
I was suffering from herpes zoster on right forehead. Now the scabs and shingles are gone. But now I have marks on head and lot of pain that comes and goes. Any help on this on how to recover from marks and pain .

Hello, This is called Post herpatic neuralgia. Which is due to damage of nerves.. As the treatment was started after 4 days of onset of Herpes. Zoster infection..

Hi. Pain after herpes zoster is it’s common complication. You need to get a prescription for analgesics from dermatologist ( nearby or online). These prescription medicines are usually given for a period of week or more. Pain will gradually subside over two to three weeks.
