I had c section delivery 5 months back.1 week after delivery I had high BP,my gyno gave BP medicine and asked me to continue for 6 weeks. At 10 weeks I had whole body numbness , extreme fatigue and palpitations.Consulted general physician he checked my BP ,it was high and asked me take BP medicine again.Consulted neurologist for body numbness and anxiety. He suggested some blood and urine test, brain MRI and 2D echo, all reports were normal.he gave medicine for that and asked me to continue BP medicine. My BP is normal from past 2 months,Consulted neurologist again if I can stop BP medicine,he says My BP is chronic now and I need to continue medicine lifelong.
I never had high BP before , does postpartum BP doesn't subside.
