I have been experiencing post nasal drip that is making me feel like I need to gag. I take Zyrtec, an OTC nasal spray, a RX nasal spray, and Singulair everyday for my allergies. I also get allergy shots. I just turned on the humidifier and have tried gargling salt/lemon water. This is really impacting my quality of life right now. What else can I try? Some additional info: I’m allergic to penicillin and ceclor. I’ve also developed a rash from taking Tussin CF, but Tussin DM has always been fine.

Your problem could be sinusitis secondary to allergy. You will need a diagnostic nasal endoscopy first followed by a ct scan of paranasal sinuses to evaluate further and determine the treatment accordingly. Antihistamines and topical steroid nasal spray can be useful.
