Post covid throat burning
I got tested positive for covid on 25th April , had little throat irritation and lost smell. Taken home treatment and completed isolation and recovered. CRp is 0.7 after recovery. From last 2 weeks I am getting throat irritation again but no other symptoms. mild pain is also coming while swallowing and sometimes mild dry cough. Is it normal post covid?

One should always be aware of post Covid throat irritation due to reflux. Oral laryngoscopy is the most economical solution to rule this out. Unnecessary medications for reflux are also not recommended.

The burning and irritation in the throat could be due to the reflux , after prolonged medication and antibiotics for covid. Would suggest a detailed online consultation for better management
