Hi
I had done prolactin along with other hormone test in which my prolactin was 148 10 days back
So I redid it pooled prolactin which came out at 164
I am very scared and worried as doctor said that this might mean a tumor in brain
I have pcos from last 13 years and hence the cycles are irregular apart from that I have no other symptom

A prolactin level of 148-164 is elevated but not alarmingly high, and there are many causes apart from a tumor â including PCOS itself, stress, medications, and hypothyroidism. A pituitary tumor (prolactinoma), if present, is almost always benign and very treatable. Please do not panic, as this is a manageable condition.
Next Steps
