Polishing has nothing to do with filling. If u have carious tooth get ur restoration done of the carious tooth. After then go for scaling and polishing if needed

Hello sir,
Please visit a dentist and do your scaling and polishing .
After that get your cavity checked.
If required x ray will be taken.
And nothing worse then cavity can be filled with glass ionomer cement.

Hi..... Visit a dentist for Scaling/Cleaning of teeth. Scaling will remove plaque( transparent layer), calculus ( yellow colour stony hard deposits on and in between the teeth) and stains. Further polishing can be done. But you have to maintain your oral hygiene and have to good care of it.
If you have a cavity in your tooth then it can be filled with a tooth coloured material known as Composite or GIC ( Glass ionomer Cement).
