Hello Doctor, attached is the image of my Covid RAT self test kit result. It has a faint C line, but a dark T line. Today is 5th day since my symptoms started with 102 fever, runny nose and severe headache. Took the test using home kit on 2nd day. When should I retest? Currently have cold and throat pain when I swallow anything. No fever. After how many days a negative test result can be expected and how quickly are the RTPCR results generated?
Thanks in advance.

It is positive.
Symptoms improvement is considered as recovery from covid.
Repeat test to check for negative report is not required and can be confusing if comes positive repeatedly which doesn't mean active disease in every cases.
Test can be false positive upto one month or sometimes more.
Rtpcr test reporting depends on lab. Labs with high patient load can deliver report same day of sample collection. Otherwise 2 days.
