My last LMP was 5th of july and my test shows that i am pregnant.I did bhcg test on 5th of aug and it was 244 and today after 10 days it is still 405.6
Sonography shows that i have thick walled cystic lesion with ring of fire around on doppler, seen in right ovary ---suggestive of corpus luteum cystic lesion
Doctor is assuming that it could be sign of ectopic pregnancy.
Final impression : Tiny cystic lesion (1.9mm approx) in lower uterine cavity-- suggestive of ? Pseudo gestational sac?early gestational sac.
Please some one let me know whats happening.
I'm also attaching my today's sonography reports.
My doctor confirmed that this oregnancy cannot be survived but i am afraid if it is ectopic pregnancy then i have to go through surgery.
Can someone confirm if it is ectopic pregnancy or just corpus luteum cyst?

The scan shows a pseudo gestational sac or an "early gestational sac" (that means it doesn't correspond in size to the size as per the last period ).
Either way, it shows that the patient had an Intrauterine gestation. If that be so, it, by default, excludes an ectopic pregnancy because a twin pregnancy it is a rare phenomenon to find one Intrauterine and one extra uterine pregnancy.
She has a corpus luteum cyst in the right ovary.
In short, she is not a patient who should be taken up for an emergency laparotomy for an ectopic pregnancy. She should be investigated further by another ultrasound scan after a week to see how the vascularity around corpus luteum progresses.
Ultrasound picks up pregnancy late
Either wait fr a week n repeat the ultrasound or go fr blood test bhcg
Doubling titers in 48 hours ensure intrauterine pregnancy
