Did you have discharge as well from the penis earlier? Is there pain in lower abdomen and or difficulty in passing urine?
Inflammation of the prostate or urethra can manifest as burning during urination.
Certain foods and beverages like spicy foods, caffeine, alcohol, citrus fruits can cause burning in vulnerable people by causing irritation of the bladder
Next Steps
Continue drinking more water, repeat urine Microscopy.
Get ultrasound of the bladder done on a full bladder
Avoid drinks and foods that potentially cause burning.
Are you having fever , abdominal pain ?
If yes , you may repeat urine routine
Otherwise just continue drinking 3 liters of water
Take syrup citralka 2 tsp on one glass of water tds for 5 days
Consult if symptoms persist
Your symptoms—burning sensation despite normal urine reports and adequate hydration—could indicate:
1. **Non-infectious Urethritis** (irritation from diet, hygiene, or mild inflammation).
2. **Prostatitis** (even without fever, especially in young males).
3. **Bladder Sensitivity** (interstitial cystitis or acidic urine).
Recommended Steps:**
- **Avoid caffeine/spicy foods** temporarily.
- **Try urinary alkalizers** (e.g., OTC citrate supplements) if urine is acidic.
- **Monitor for new symptoms** (fever, discharge, back pain).
However**, persistent burning requires further evaluation (e.g., prostate exam, imaging) to rule out subtle infections or structural issues.
Consultation Advice:**
Schedule a visit for:
- Detailed history and physical exam.
- Targeted tests (e.g., prostate fluid culture, ultrasound if needed).
- Tailored treatment (antibiotics/anti-inflammatory if required).

Hi,
Give it a little bit of time. It's unusual for a young man of your age to develop a UTI. I would suggest you take enough water as you already are.
Keep the groin clean and avoid extremely tight undergarments- increases sweat and dirt accumulation
Do send the urine routine report once when you consult so that I get a better idea
Thank you

Hey.
Keep your private area clean and dry. Don’t wear tight fitting underwear and clothes as it is getting hotter.
Have syrup Citralka 10 ml in a glass of water twice daily for 3-4 days.
