Hi Doctor,
I am on my journey to loose 15 kg and I lost almost 10 kg solely by walking 10k steps a day and following a calorie deficit diet and to meet my daily my protein intake I was thinking of to take a scoop of plant based protein as a supplement.
Can I take plant based protein while only walking without any strength training.
I'm using Oziva plant based pea protein.

Weight loss is a collaborative result of well balanced nutrition, physical activity minimum 4 times to maximum 6 times / week for about 30 mins to 60 mins , 7-8 hrs undisturbed sleep every night and stress management activities on daily basis for about 30 mins minimum in whole day.
The results that you have seen can be said health weight loss when we know that the calorie deficit diet that you are following is the nutritionally balance diet . Beacuse there are many diets on the internet or friend's suggested diets that people follow and they are "not healthy " you get weight loss but you lose your health and such kind of diets lead to lots of health side effects after certain period of time may be after few months or years.

Only plant base or any other protein won't work as a solo ingredient in weight mgmt.
Take home cooked meals comprising all nutrients macros and micros. Take good fats, carbs n protein. Limit all processed preserved packaged and outside food completely. Stop hard drinks and smoking if any. Take good water intake of atleast 3-4 lit a day.
Alongwith the dietary changes, lifestyle modifications must be done like Physical activity for atleast 1 hour, time discipline should be fixed for all meals and other activities. Try getting sleep for 6-8 hrs min.
