Pinky finger fracture surgery

Hey ..plz reply... My sister pinky finger get fractured as it get tilted so Dr said we have to do operation by putting metal inside... So want to know how many days it take to heal and will metal pin remain inside or taken out...when she able to do work... reply as soon as possible...

Regular wound takes 2 weeks to heal. Fracture takes 4-6 weeks to heal. Metal can be left inside depending on type used. Ideally implant removal is not before 1 years, exception being some specific implants which warrant early removal.
