Having redness, itching and bit swollen watery eyes....first my 2 and a half year old child got infection and then it came to me.

Seems to be a viral conjunctivitis or sore eyes. These are self limiting. Maintain good hygiene; wash hands frequently; avoid sharing of napkins, towels etc with others; do cold compresses to the closed eyes; wash eyes 3-4 times a day with clean water. Avoid use of steroid drops as they may lead to complications
