Dealing with recurring pimples can be frustrating, especially with oily skin. Here are some medical and skincare tips that might help:
Cleanse Regularly: Wash your face twice daily with a gentle, oil-free cleanser to remove excess oil and impurities. Avoid harsh soaps that can irritate your skin1.
Use a Toner: Applying a toner can help control oil secretion and minimize visible pores. Look for toners with ingredients like salicylic acid or witch hazel2.
Moisturize: Even oily skin needs hydration. Use a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer to keep your skin balanced without clogging pores3.
Avoid Touching Your Face: Try not to touch your face frequently, as this can transfer bacteria and oils from your hands to your skin, potentially worsening acne4.
Diet and Lifestyle: Maintain a balanced diet and stay hydrated. Reducing intake of sugary and greasy foods can also help manage acne4.
Consult a Dermatologist: If over-the-counter treatments aren’t effective, it might be worth consulting a doctor . I can prescribe stronger medications or treatments tailored to your skin type1.
It’s great that you’re using a Vitamin C serum, as it can help with pigmentation and overall skin health. However, combining it with the above steps might give you better results.
