Dealing with recurring pimples can be frustrating, especially with oily skin. Here are some medical and skincare tips that might help: Cleanse Regularly: Wash your face twice daily with a gentle, oil-free cleanser to remove excess oil and impurities. Avoid harsh soaps that can irritate your skin1. Use a Toner: Applying a toner can help control oil secretion and minimize visible pores. Look for toners with ingredients like salicylic acid or witch hazel2. Moisturize: Even oily skin needs hydration. Use a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer to keep your skin balanced without clogging pores3. Avoid Touching Your Face: Try not to touch your face frequently, as this can transfer bacteria and oils from your hands to your skin, potentially worsening acne4. Diet and Lifestyle: Maintain a balanced diet and stay hydrated. Reducing intake of sugary and greasy foods can also help manage acne4. Consult a Dermatologist: If over-the-counter treatments aren’t effective, it might be worth consulting a doctor . I can prescribe stronger medications or treatments tailored to your skin type1. It’s great that you’re using a Vitamin C serum, as it can help with pigmentation and overall skin health. However, combining it with the above steps might give you better results. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions or need further advice!
