Persistent Mouth Blisters on the roof
I am getting blisters (specially on both the upper corner of the mouth) on the roof of my mouth filled with water (or something like that, white in color) from last 3-4 months. It usually appears and disappears within the window of 2 hours to 2 days. Size of these blisters are very small; just like the size of a pimple. When I try to burst them with my fingers, it bursts off but becomes a wound and then i have to apply some ointment onto it and takes a week to get away. It appears again of the same spot as soon as I eat something (either warm or light warm or salty or spicy). Please note ”it appears only when I eat/drink something” but it is very persistent. I was a tobacco consumer 2 months back, I have stopped using tobacco now. I am taking "SM Fibro" capsule twice a day from last 1 month but no relief. Kindly Help.

Hello, you can apply baking soda over it or do baking soda in water mouth rinses. This will help to heal your ulcers. If they still persist, you need to consult a physician and get your vitamin B levels checked. If required take supplements for it.

These blisters are painful or not is important to know for diagnosis. If u can easily burst them then they are not aphthous ulcers. It can be oral manifestations of some autoimmune disease. Visit an oral medicine specialist for proper diagnosis on urgent basis.

As you have mentioned that it is in the form of a blister( water filled)  which appears when you have food, It is most probably a mucocele. Mucocele generally appears in the lower lip( inner side)  but it can also be formed on the palate or tongue or cheek( that is wherever minor salivary glands are present). It happens due to trauma to the minor salivary gland duct due to Which the mucous formed is spilled out and it forms a blister like small lesion.  If you want to avoid recurrence of mucocele it can be surgically excised under local anaesthesia. Since you have habit of chewing tobacco, during the development of OSMF also vesicles may be seen. But the diagnosis needs to be confirmed for which direct examination is required along with proper history.
