I am a 17-year-old male experiencing persistent itching and redness in my groin/genital area. This has been going on for approximately [6-7months]. I have not applied any creams, lotions, or medications to the affected area yet. The skin in that area appears [irritating iching and burning ]. This discomfort is affecting my daily routine. Please advise on what this could be and what the appropriate next steps or treatment options are. Should I use an over-the-counter cream, or do I need a physical examination?
