RBC- MICROCYTIC HYPOCHROMIC
WBC WITHIN NORMAL LIMITS
PLATELETS -THROBOCYTOSIS
NO HEMOPARASITES SEEN
IMPRESSION: MICROCYTIC HYPOCHROMIC WITH THROBOCYTOSIS. I am anemic my iron level is 24, my hemoglobin is 11.4 , I have severe b12 deficiency and vitamin d deficiency also... I m taking supplements from last 3 months but my iron level not improved but decreased from 46 to 24 ,but my hemoglobin improved it was 10.4 ,three months ago but today it is 11.4 . Please tell me do I have cancer like disease ??according my peripheral test report. I don't have fever or any kind of symptoms but I have anemia pls pls reply i m very tense .

As you mentioned your low iron levels, the most prevalent cause of a microcytic hypochromic blood picture is iron deficiency anemia. Kindly get an iron profile done. To assess treatment response, please get a reticulocyte count done.
