Periods after c section .
Hello doc. I had a c section , and it has been around 9 1/2 now. I m a breastfeeding mother. Though i have started solids to my baby at 6 months of age. When will my periods be back  ? Should i wait or consult gynac. ?

Actually there is no upper limit. It can be even upto one and a half years. Instead of waiting for periods you should use some effective contraception. When you are not having periods it may happen that you will conceive and you will not even know.

Difficult to predict if ur period will come or not There r times whn Ur breast feeding u don't get ur periods. N that is normal Also even if u do not get ur perids pregnancy may happen Make sure ur using an adequate Contra

Breast feeding can be the cause of missed period  that we call lactation amenorrhea in medical term  .But chances of of pregnancy are still there .so keep checking by urine test.or else you can consult for the same.
