Period problem
“My last period was on 1 August, and my menstrual cycle is usually around 30 days. My period is currently delayed. I took a home pregnancy test, but the result was negative. I would like to know why my period may be delayed and whether I should repeat the pregnancy test or consult a doctor.”

A single home test can still read negative in early pregnancy, so timing matters more than people expect. Repeat it after a few more days, and if your period still hasn't shown up, a blood test or a gynaecologist visit will give you a clearer answer.

You need to repeat the pregnancy test preferably a blood test if period is delayed by more then 1 week. So repeat the urine test on 7th and final if negative see a doctor who can prescribe the blood test workup
