I have missed my period by 10 days. Had taken a pregnancy test (the regular stick test and BHCG) and both have come back as negative. I do not have a history of hormonal issues and my period is always on the regular 27/28 days cycle. What could be the problem?

Hi there,
There are many causes of irregular menses. Like stress, less physical activity, dietary changes, etc.
So any thing can be the reason.
If this happening for the first time then nothing to worry about.
I would suggest don't take any medication for now.
Just eat healthy, do regular exercise.
Wait for your menses. For 10 days more.

Hi. Stress can cause the problem . If it has happened first time nothing to be done . You can wait for another 5 days . If still no periods then start Tab Regesterone 5 mg twice a day for 5 days after food for withdrawl bleeding .
