Perianal abscess
There is pus forming near my anal region. On and off from the past 2 months. I visited a gastro surgeon who said that the lump looks like on the upper skin and prescribed antibiotics. After the use of antibiotics, I faced the situation once after consuming alcohol. When I visited the gastro surgeon he said that it's anal fistula and needs surgery. I'm not sure how to go about it. Will there be any other reasons apart from fistula? Or any other treatment needs to be considered? There is no pain or problem in the bowel movement unless the pus is formed.
