My 4 year daughter has a hole near her ear .Sometimes it gets infected and this time it is swollen and pain is there.Please advise

It's infected preauricular sinus..medical management is required at the moment.after that it should be removed by surgical excision.

It is present since birth and it get infected often

It is infected preauricular sinus.looks like u have to get it drained immediately and then after 1-2 month can get it excised. Meet a good ENT nearby and get it done. only medicine will not help it as pus has formed.
