Pcod problem taking metformin
I have pcod and I am taking metformin 500 mg twice daily I had stopped it during my pregnancy and breastfeeding period as my doctor advised but started it 8 months ago is long term use of metformin bad for my health or should I continue taking it

Metformin normally do not cause hypoglycemia in mono therapy. So safe to continue. Long term metformin can cause vitamin B12 deficiency so better to take B12 supplements.
