PCL AND MCL TEAR AND MENISCUS TEAR
I am 60 years old healthy and fit. no diabetic and no BP. met with accident 6 months back. MCL complete tear, PCL partial tear and meniscus horizontal tear. Doctors are giving different opinions for undergoing surgery of reconstruction / augmentation and meniscus repair due to old age. Whether to go or not to go for arthoscopy / key hole surgery

MCL complete tears usually require repair or reconstruction to get stable knee. Regarding meniscus, depends on many factors like age, activity level, extent of tear etc. Kindly consult Orthopaedic surgeon near you .
