Partial acl tear
I had a injury during the month of March 14 , and went for mri as per doc prescription, and after that I could not able to go for treatment due to the current situation. What will the treatment for it? Ur suggestion are highly appreciable..

If currently u r able to walk with brace continue it but if u find difficult to walk without brace and u feel u r leg is unstable .kindly pls consult a near by orthopaedician who can guide u for the next step by confirming u r diagnosis clinically

Hi, Due injury your ACL damaged Post injury you had adequate rest due to current scenario. Now if pain or laxity persists after 6 weeks of injury then you should go for ACL reconstruction - an arthroscopic procedure that helps you. If no pain, no laxity, then take care and pull on.

Only rest, brace for 6 week and anti inflammatory drug for 3 week. Physio after that. Pain will persist for 6 month. Clinical examination again after 3 month to check for instability..

Partial ACL tear requires observation from ur side whether ur having any symptom of instability, recurrent swelling or locking.U may require Arthroscopy knee surgery if any of these persists..

wear a knee brace avoid squatting or sports for atleast 3 months

Any intervention for partial ACL tear depends on your symptoms. Now its one month after injury. 1. If you have no pain or instability now resume your daily activities. 2. if having pain or instability use a Hinged knee brace during ambulation. As there is osteochondral lesion and edema of LCL better to continue with brace for 6 weeks.
