Paralysis and osteoarthritis
My mother had paralysis in her right hand and leg which later recovered good enough gradually that made her walk climb stairs freely without any hindrance. Later on after 2/3 years again diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee itself. Had lot of pain but still managed to walk climb stairs and visit clinic. Consulted with one homeopathy doctor who gave powdered medicine to take once in 15 days ( causticum and Ruta) .. that continued throughout year. Each 15 day she used to take that medicine she had unbearable pain...for 2/3 days... that continued throughout year. Now she can't able to move freely without support. She don't have problem bending her legs either..also she has minimal pain now. But still she can't able to walk freely, use stairs. Fed up with different treatment. Any solutions out there kindly help me out. Also she is taking vrihat vat chinta mani ras since three month one tablet once daily. No improvement so far.

Brihat vats Chintamani rasa one tablet per day is not sufficient. Have brihat vata Chintamani rasa with gold twice daily for better results. Whether joint is inflamed? Means is there is swelling , tenderness in joints? Because treatment depends on the condition of the joint. Please clarify it

Post-Stroke Weakness & Osteoarthritis – Ayurvedic Approach ✅ Issue: Muscle weakness & joint stiffness rather than severe arthritis. ✅ Goal: Improve mobility, strength & nerve function. 1. Ayurvedic Medicines: ✅ Ashwagandha + Shatavari Churna (1 tsp with milk at bedtime) – Strengthens nerves & muscles. ✅ Yograj Guggulu (2 tabs twice daily) – Joint support. ✅ Maharasnadi Kwath (20 ml twice daily) – Improves movement. ✅ Continue Brihat Vata Chintamani Ras. 2. Panchakarma Therapies: 🌀 Mahanarayan Taila Massage + Nadi Swedana – Reduces stiffness. 🌀 Basti Therapy (Under Guidance) – Best for nerve recovery & mobility. 3. Physiotherapy & Exercises: ✅ Mild weight-bearing exercises, balancing drills & stair training. ✅ Water therapy (if possible). 4. Diet & Lifestyle: 🚫 Avoid: Cold, dry, processed foods. ✅ Include: Ghee, sesame, soaked almonds, warm foods. ✅ Daily stretching & sun exposure. Next Steps: 🔹 Follow Ayurvedic treatment + physiotherapy for 3–6 months. 🔹 Panchakarma can significantly improve movement. ✅ Ayurveda + therapy can restore mobility naturally.

Brihat vata Chintamani once daily won't be sufficient. And proper one to one consultation is needed here.

Such cases need minute details. Like the age of your mother. Since when is she on antihypertensive medicine, what kind of medicine, is she on blood thinners like aspirin, is she taking any medication for acidity, Is the acidity medicine causing hindrance in calcium absorption? Many things to see before advising.
Next Steps
Please consult a good Ayurveda practitioner.
Health Tips
Please avoid self-medication. Take medication under supervision. All the best 😊👍
