Papillary thyroid carcinoma
Hi My wife was tested with papillary thyroid carcinoma. Now thyroid has been removed via surgery. Radio Iodin scan test has been done in which 2 small cells are found . Doctor has advice for Radio Iodin Therapy . After Radio Iodin Therapy will it be clear. And is there a chance where it will come back. Report has been attached .

Hi    Please attach reports if what surgery has been done. Actually radio iodine therapy can be given upto 5 sessions. Becoz this is early stage there is very less chance of it coming back. Once see your surgical oncologist for opinion regarding remnant thyroid tissue.
