Meditation/Yoga. I know you must have read this at a lot of places and wondering if it works but yes, it actually works. Tried and tested. Try “headspace” app for meditation if you are a begineer. Observe your thought patterns and you will realise that your mind hypes every situation and overthinks about it. Try to let go of that habit. Be aware of your thoughts and you will see a drastic change in your situation. Practice deep breathing when you feel stressed and anxious. Try to live in the present moment. Give your full attention to whatever you do. Don’t live in your mind and overthink. Anxiety is caused due to fear or thinking of the past and future. Let go of the perfectionist mindset. Understand that perfection is a perception. Give your best and then let yourself loose. Try to spend more time in doing things that you like, spend time with nature, play relaxing music on youtube, download antistress music apps. Read Echkart tolle's book “The power of now”. It will help you to understand the mechanics of mind. Try essential oils. Peppermint is my favorite one. It acts wonder. If you are an introvert, make sure that you spend some alone time . Introvert needs their quality alone time to recharge. Observe what kind of situations make you anxious and stressed. Avoid those situations or prepare yourself mentally in advance on how to deal with those situations.
