Pain side of right ankle n sole

Asked for Female, 43 Years

My right ankle has a swelling and paining too. There were a layer of calcium deposits seen in x ray 4 yrs ago. Now i can see a bump from outside on my curved part of ankle behind. Pain increases on doing house works . Am at home , not employed so no sedentary work.

Right ankle swelling can be due to some degenerative changes in the ankle joint. Old calcium deposit changes in x ray may be osteophytes..

Next Steps

Better to get another x ray done of ankle joint. Start with hot fomentation, take analgesic, calcium and vit d supplements..
