I'm a runner. I've been running for about two months now. I like running and I'm preparing for my first marathon. I was texting my limits in the last week. The pain I feel, I can differentiate this pain I feel to the pain from a sore muscle. It's not the same. I feel like a little twinge every time I put pressure on the leg.

You need to to specify the area it is paining. You may need to stretch, apply icing, give a break from the practice for a week. Check your running posture by a sport Physiotherapist to avoid this muscle strain .
