Pain Outside of Knees due to Running
I am a serious runner averaging 60-80 kms/week during peak season and 30-40kms/week otherwise for the past 6-7 years. Lately to make up for lost running workout I ran too many kms too soon in the past month for a number of weeks. Now I have a recurring pain outside of my knee joints every time I resume running after days of rest and rehab exercise for ITB also doing leg and glute strengthening. During running the pain is very mild it's only after a few hrs that the pain starts and then after days of rest and stretching the pain subsides. What is the long term solution for the this issue?
