Pain near kidney area
Hello Doc, i was experiencing sharp pain on my right side of the abdomen, and under recommendation of my family doctor, i got abdominal scan done. All my reports came out normal. No kidney stone noticed. Pain was gone but it appeared again in couple of days post which I started antibiotics course (Cifran) Pain is not as severe as Friday but I'm worried as it is still there.

Pain might not necessarily be due to UTI. There are a hundred other reasons why you can suffer from pain abdomen. If it is not detectable on the ultrasound scan, another investigation like a CT scan may be required. Can be due to a gynaecological cause too. Follow up with your physician .

You need a clinical examination. When the investigations don't reveal a diagnosis then I go back to the basics.
