1. Gastritis / Acid reflux (GERD): Burning/gnawing pain, worse after meals, lying down, or spicy/oily food. 2. Peptic Ulcer Disease (Stomach/Duodenum): Pain often relieved or worsened by food, may persist despite basic antacids. 3. Gallbladder issues (stones, inflammation): Pain more to the right upper abdomen, may radiate to back/shoulder, sometimes with nausea after fatty meals. 4. Functional Dyspepsia: Chronic indigestion without structural disease. 5. Other (less common at 25, but important if red flags): Pancreatitis, liver issues, or even cardiac pain (rare at this age but should not be ignored). --- ✅ What Should Be Done Since 2 weeks of persistent symptoms despite medicine, she needs further evaluation: Investigations: Upper GI Endoscopy (to rule out gastritis/ulcer/GERD complications) Ultrasound Abdomen (for gallbladder/liver/pancreas) CBC, LFT, Lipase/Amylase (if severe pain or vomiting) H. pylori test (common cause of chronic gastritis/ulcer) Lifestyle Measures: Eat small, frequent meals (avoid large gaps). Avoid spicy, oily, fried foods, coffee, alcohol. Don’t lie down immediately after meals. Stress management (stress worsens gastritis/GERD). Medications (after doctor review): PPI (e.g. Pantoprazole/Omeprazole once daily before breakfast for 2–4 weeks). If H. pylori positive → needs triple therapy. Antacids/sucralfate for temporary relief. --- 🚨 Red Flag Symptoms (need urgent medical review) Vomiting blood / black stools Severe unrelenting pain Unexplained weight loss Persistent vomiting or difficulty swallowing --- 👉 In summary: This is most likely gastritis/acid reflux or ulcer-related, but since it’s not improving with initial treatment, she must undergo further evaluation (endoscopy/ultrasound) rather than only repeating medicines.

Hello, I understand you’re worried, but try not to panic. Persistent upper stomach pain and indigestion that hasn’t improved with medicines should be evaluated by a gastroenterologist to find the exact cause. Meanwhile, stick to light, non-spicy meals.
