you can do warm salt water rinses as a home remedy. but this will give you temporary relief from pain. you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. its better to see the case clinically for proper diagnosis and treatment plan.
Could be a new tooth coming out. Apply a pain relieving gel like Dologel or Zytee on the painful area and visit your dentist to rule out any other possibility like caries related toothache. Don't worry.
