Pain in the tailbone area
I am an Athlete who do compound weight lifting on daily basis. 2 weeks back while doing Hip Thrust i felt a little discomfort in the tail bone area but i continued with my routine. After 1 week of that incident I experienced slight discomfort again in the left side of the tail bone area - i did some stretching and it was all ok. But yesterday again i felt the pain but this time it is slightly more as compared to last time. Symptoms - 1. Whenever i lean forward i feel the pain. 2. When i am leaning backward there is no pain 3. If i lie down i feel slight discomfort but after sometime its fine. 4. When i am trying to stand up - i feel the pain. 5. When i walk - there is no issue. What can be done ? Is it due to some nerve or muscle spasm? Thank you!

Nothing to worry, apply ice pack twice a day, rest and do foam roller exercises daily, if no improvement after 3 days then visit physiotherapy clinic and take treatment. Or you can visit the ortho doc and can use medicines for the same.

What you are mentioning sound like a sacroiliac joint issue. Or if your loading was not equal on both legs with the hip trust, you could load one side of the tail bone. Hard to diagnose unless it is felt. You might have to visit a physiotherapist.
