I started running after years of "inactivity" and only after 4-5 days of starting out my knees began to hurt. I did not stop, hoping that it will go away eventually but it got worse. I tried stretching and strengthening exercises but the pain was getting worse. So I have stopped for now, giving it time to heal. I think I got the runner's knee. Do you think I should visit a doc or are there things I can do at home to recover. I would love to get back to running soon.
Thanks
