Pain in sholuder area
Hi..my friend has a problem in his shoulder area. Yesterday night there was pain in his right shoulder till palm of right hand. He messaged with pain relief cream but pain was increased by it. Then he rubbed the affected area with ice and got minor relief. Today he is feeling pain in left shoulder area till palm of left hand. And this time even massage with ice is also not working. Would you please guide us what should we do? Appreciate your help in this.

Pain is coming from cervical spine... But exactly which level it is, and if it is disc or bone origin can only be made after physical evaluation of the patient followed by x-ray and MRI.... Please contact an orthopaedic consultant at the earliest and do as suggested..... Cervical spine issues like this should not be ignored at all

The pain seems to be coming from cervical spine and radiating to his arm. This needs to be examined and investigated by an Orthopaedics surgeon. Initial treatment usually is analgesic and physio but if don't improve then xrays and MRI will be needed

Many times these kind of pain indicates that cervical spine involvement should be rule out either by physical examination or investigation or opinion from neurologist. For time being continue ice, rest and correct posture and use cervical pillow in night. You need to go to your doctor who is near by you.
