Today i am experiencing sharp occassional pain in my right top chest and underarm. This pain is occuring mainly when i am trying to stretch my hand. Is it a serious issue?

You are describing what doctors call as ‘negative and positive sensory symptoms’. A combination of negative and positive sensory symptoms would indicate typically some nerves becoming trapped as they leave the spine or in the neck etc. . The advise is: 1. Have a physical examination from a doctor including breast examination and cervical /thoracic spine. 2. If symptoms are not settling, get an EMG-Nerve conduction study (NCS) done to help find out which nerves are affected 3. Based on the results of the EMG-NCS can have MRI of cervical and thoracic spine. Hope this is helpful. All the best. J G S R clinic

It's not too serious,  Avoid activities that worsen the symptoms (heavy lifting, prolonged elbow bending, leaning on the elbow, or repetitive wrist/finger motions).
Next Steps
see a local physician, if pain persists.
