Pain in right leg due to accident overea
My wife had an accident a year ago, injuring her right leg. Since then, she experiences chronic pain after minimal activity (walking, standing for 5 minutes, or doing household work). There's no fracture, but the pain persists. She also developed gas and bloating issues since the injury. Pain relief methods haven't worked well. We need to know if this could be nerve damage, muscle strain, or circulation issues and whether tests like MRI or nerve conduction studies are needed. Also, could her digestive issues be related to stress or medication side effects? Seeking advice on treatment and lifestyle changes.

Based of the history given i would want to ask few more leading questions to narrow down my approach Clinical history findings- A. 1 year old history-  signifies it's a chronic thing B. Injury to the right leg- is the pain which is there matches with the area of injury ? Or is it generalised C. If pain is not generalised,  is it radiating from lower back to leg ?
Next Steps

Very unlikely to be a fracture causing an issue after a year I would recommend doing blood tests Haemogram Vit d and b12 to check for any abnormalities Bloating could be because of pain killers or anxiety
