Will the medication Celcox 200 reduce the need for pain medication and improve my mom’s knee problems. She is 72 and had a baker cyst that popped and a tear in her miniscus. She was diagnosed with arthritis and osteoporosis too.

The pain medication is just for pain and not for the underlying problem.
Next Steps
Evaluation by orthopaedic. She could require knee replacement if the knee is in advanced stages of arthritis. Meniscal repair or meniscectomy is usually not a good option at her age
