Knee ACL and Miniscus tear
Hello Doctor's, I got my knee twisted/hurt while playing cricket, got MRI done as prescribed. Below are the details. Kindly suggest the treatments please. MRI Impression: Full-thickness ACL tear close to its femoral attachment. Proximal and distal ligament stumps are bulky and hyperintense. Significant anterior tibial translation is noted neutral position. Osteochondral impaction fracture along anterolateral aspect of weight bearing surface of lateral femoral condyle, with underlying subchondral marrow oedema and overlying thinning of articular cartilage. Marrow contusion along posterior aspect of lateral tibial condyle. Focal chondral ulceration (3 x 3 mm) along lateral aspect of weight-bearing surface of medial femoral condyle. Chondral fissuring suggestive of grade 3 chondromalacia noted along median patellar ridge and midportion of middle patellar facet. Complex tear in medial meniscal body and posterior horn, as described.

I would suggest a above knee plaster cast for4- 6 weeks along with NSAIDs and multivitamins. - restricted activities . - review the response & further treat there after.
