Pain in ribs
Hi , 2 weeks back while doing exercise my father got strain in his right side lower ribs. It was very painful on that day but after few days pain is reduced and by sleeping on one side now other side ribs and back is paining. He tried to sleep straight but still he is getting pain in ribs he is not able to sleep straight for more than 15-20 mins. Kindly guide us.

Sprain in the rib/inercostal muscles. Ice pack , ointment , deep breathing exercises.clinical evaluation .

Give him two pillows while sleeping so that the stretched muscles remain relaxed. More importantly ask him to sit upright and work in a manner such that his upper back remains relatively tilted behind and relaxed. Avoid sitting for longer duration.

Seems muscles spasm।. Rest Hot fomentation 3 times for 15 minutes Muscles relaxant Analgesics He will b fine
