I start running from last 2 weeks ....now I feel pain in one of my knee. And a sound of pop when I stand up after sitting for long time. And pain starts after sitting for a long time.what can I do...or it is a serious problem?...when I fold my for morethan 5 mins pain starts and then I have to straighten my knee immediately.to reduce this pain.

Strengthen your core,gluteals,VMO. Stretch your Hams,calf,IT band.Run wearing a proper running shoe . Avoid hard surfaces like cement pavements.
