Pain in neck & left shoul
Have been suffering from acute pain in left side of neck and back area of left shoulder.Spondylosis diagnosed in 2009.Shoulder pain started in Jan 2014.On movement or exercise even crepitus sound comes from left shoulder.This pain keeps me uncomfortable all the time. Sometimes neck pain is so severe which restrict little movement of my neck.Its happen once or twice a year. X-ray report of shoulder bone is normal but X-ray of neck bone diagnosed degerative damage between c4-c5 & c5-c6.Space is reduced marginally. Neck pain becomes severe only when it gets aggravated.But shoulder pain and stiffness is being feel all the time. Shoulder X-ray report confirm  normal shoulder bone. But pain and stiffness is there in shoulder. No diabetes, no hypertension, no other diseases. Please guide.

Dear Sir, Shoulder pain could be from your neck and/or your shoulder. X rays show bones, however muscle tears cannot be picked up on an x ray. Hence, a detailed clinical examination by an Orthopaedic Shoulder specialist is recommended
